SIA Close Protection Officer Training 
Security South West provide and conduct an S.I.A/Edexcel approved BTEC Level 3 ‘Close Protection Officers’ course providing the private security industry with professional bodyguards trained to exceptional standards. 
 
Our training team consists of former Police, Intelligence, Military and Government Agency personnel. Due to the professional trainers, our training facility is able to offer a 14 day course with content that far exceeds the minimum requirements of the BTEC Level 3 / S.I.A. approved course. 
 
The cost of this course is £1680.00 including VAT.

When applying to the SIA for your Close Protection licence you will be required to produce evidence that you have attained a recognised first aid award. If you do not have a recognised first aid award you will need to get one in order to get your licence. 
 
First aid awards recognised by the SIA are: 
 
First Aid at Work - 4 day course (HSE approved) 
First Person on Scene (FPOS) Intermediate Award - 30 hours (Edexcel / IHCD)
